Do you mean to use for the head/ Or to build a body? Because, if it's for the body, I'd wait and try to snag a Venture Bros. Phantom Limb figure.
What version of the Invisible Man? Claude Rains? I've been puting some serious thought toward a David McCallum Invisible Man like I wished for back in the third grade . . .
Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12 https://www.facebook.com/monsterpetsbooks?ref=hl

We did a shrink from the Hasbro 12" Claude Rains Invisible Man, and we'd like to offer him in clear. It was fun to see him in white resin because the sculpt is really good. Now, we want to make him invisible again.
I've used the polyester resin that train shops sell for doing water effects. It works.... okay. If you use it, double the amount of accelerator and give it a few days to dry; especially in a 2-part mold. It has a horrid, prevasive smell, so you might want to leave it outside. I'd also suggest experimenting with some dud molds, so's you don't wreck a good one first time out.
