Ted (aka my first sculpt that I'm not displeased with)

So here's Ted; so named since he's got Ted Koppel-ish looking hair. I've been playing around with Super Sculpty off and on for a few months now, and have a couple other heads painted, but none of them looks as good as they did before the paint job. As such I wanted to immortalize Ted before I paint him.

    Body & coat from Castaway.

Question: For sanding and smoothing, what do some of you use? Sandpaper? Or are gloves (as you work) the way to go?

    Thanks for looking!

Lookin' good! There is really, really fine sandpaper available for that purpose.

Not too shabby. Is it really gonna be Ted Koppel?

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

Good sculpt, and I think that he looks great as-is....kind of like The Question or maybe The Shadow.

I guess he could. I didn't base the sculpt on anyone, and he became 'Ted' once I put the hair on.

I like the prospect of making movie characters and real people more than superheroes, so he could become my first 'Stars of Late Night News' figure.

          We'll see.

Not bad a'tall. I think the Late Night News figures is a crackin' good idea.
