If Roddy McDowall hadn't taken on the role of The Bookworm, I'd suggest him for it. Now HE could carry off vicious!
Does vicious really fit into the 1966 Bat-World?

No not so much... But every so often, esp. in the first season, you see something that surprises you.

        Sanders' Mr. Freeze is particularly...cold-blooded.

Curse you Imageshack! My Pengy photograph has been deleted due to violations of terms of use--because he's naked. He's a bloody naked doll, dagnabbit!! But I guess he must be almost anatomically correct because they deleted him. Curses!!

That's just stupid! Did you try Photobucket?

Y'know, I know that the administrators have no control over this, but if you can upload your avatar from you computer files, why can't you do the same thing w/ the other pics? I'd have no problem doing pics that way. Why load pics on a site just to load them on another site? Seems like an unnecessary step to me. You wouldn't be violating Terms of Use that way. I'm just saying.

I like my photos posted to a photo hosting site because then it's accessible 24/7...not just stuck on the computer I uploaded the photo to.

Photobucket--not trusting the site because I have 2500 photos uploaded in there but only see 100. I think they're trying to force me to upgrade to a paid membership. I guess it's high time I did this...but you know how I'm trying not to be splurgy.

As I remember, he was pretty upset that the Mego fat body had no waist articulation, the arms and legs were puny compared to the torso, which rendered the whole thing pretty unbelievable.

As far as I know, he managed to make a torso with waist rotation, sculpted new arms, and was working on a pair of legs, but there hasn't been an update as to how the figure is going.

Whoever you are, if you're still out there, let us see how the fig is coming. We'd really like to see how it came out.

"Upset", JJ? Me?? Nah...! I just write long. I was (at best) only slightly "miffed".

Anyway, I finished that articulate "short fat man" MEGO-scaled body eons ago:

Although i don't think it would be appropriate for Jess' AWESOME Burgess Meredith version of The Penguin. Like she pointed out, he was more short and squat (and not really fat and round).

I created my short, fat round body for a comic book version of The Penguin.

Anyway, here is a reminder of how the final body turned out:

Short, fat-man stands 6.75 inches tall (head to toe measurement). Only slightly taller than a MEGO “Our Gang” character. At 1:9 scale that’s a man who stands 5 feet 1 inch tall. PERFECT for The Penguin!

The make-up of this body is:

MEGO Boss Hogg -Head (extensively re-sculpted)
MEGO Fat Man Body- top shoulder neck hole, shoulder arm sockets
                    Jakks Pacific Umaga- Torso
Jakks Pacific Colin Delaney- ball-shoulders / arms (extensively re-sculpted)
                    MEGO “Our Gang” Spanky- Hands
MEGO Fat Man body- Used to fabricate articulated pelvis section.
                    MEGO HULK- Ball- Hip joints
Jakks Pacific Tony Atlas- Upper Legs
Fred Goodspeed- “Heroic Man” custom lower legs (cut down shorter)
                    MEGO type II- Feet

The thread that covers the step by step development of this body is here, if anyone is interested.

Roberto, that fatman body is awesome. Mine isn't as svelte as that though...but he's going to have a paunch. I'll try to post a photo of him later.

He's sporting Type II feet right now but I'm going to sculpt a pair of shoes with spats on them. And his legs are a bit too muscular--going to have to shave those down. I'm getting obsessed. I need to stop work on Pengy because I've got lots of other things I need to get cracking on. I double-checked with Dylan, and he is coming to Wondercon...so tomorrow it's all about his costume....and that is a lot of work.

Man, Jess that umbrella is perfect. I wouldn't worry about the legs too much, baggy pants will hide them.
