Great WIP Joe. Kinda reminds me of Doc Frankenstein from Burly Man Comics.

The boot feet I'm using are from a 10 inch terminator figure, just trying to work out the braces over them, I do have a big bag of old Gundam parts that are getting me in the neighborhood.

WIP on the boot brace. Also resculpted the hair and added skull clamps on the forehead, and did some bandage work.

Picked up a 9 inch military guy today, comes with a lot of oversized weapons including a revolver that looks like it will work for Frank's belt. ALso a nice assortment of grenades. Still trying to figure out the braces and how to make a rotating chain gun.

The Chain gun in progress. Got the idea from someone who did a Marvel Legends custom of this guy. Its built up on a fan from the dollar tree, it really turns. The orange parts are from the fan, black from the Terminator Salvation railgun, white is a 1/2 inch pvc coupler

                        >the knee and leg braces are giving me trouble.

You can get sheet plastic, plastic rods and such at most hobby shops. It'd be tricky; but not impossible to cut and bend 'em into the neccessary shapes. If you've got a soldering gun, you can get similar metal parts. Easier to shape, but tougher to attach to each other.

Finally picked up the last three issues of the comic, great stuff. Had to resort to Ebay, the local shops are sold out.
