Old-School Wonder Woman
I need help choosing a head to use. I prefer real "hair" vs sculpted. I have a Dorothy head, but the hair is the wrong color. Any suggestions?

Learn to reroot. It's time-consuming, but not that difficult, and totally worth the effort to have that perfect head with your desired hair color. There is a tutorial in CustoMego, but I've seen it done different ways. The one thing that I don't like about the CustoMego directions, is that the writer suggests cutting a slit in the back of the neck plug. I've never had to do this, and would be reluctant, just for fear of tearing it and ruining the head.

You should print out an eagle if you are going to do "old school." Give her that "old school" look. you got an eagle icon?

I just remembered to mention wigs. Doll wigs don't look as good as a reroot, but it's an option if you're desperate. The only person I know of who does Mego-sized wigs is Laurie(Polyester) on her site, but I haven't checked her selection lately. I know that it varies from time to time. They can be made, but they're so tiny that with the work involved, you'd be better off rerooting.Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?
