1:6 Scale Earth 2 Huntress and Robin WIP

Hey guys! So I'm fully underway on the DC Direct 13 inch customs of Earth 2 Huntress and Robin! I gathered all the materials needed (thanks for the info guys!) so I now have all the appropriate lycras and vinyls to make the suits, boots and capes. Earth 2 Robin will be made from a DC Direct Nightwing. I used Aquaman's extra hands to match the green vinyl I picked out for his gloves. I also constructed his belt from the tops of Nightwing's boots and some elastic. His mask is made from green vinyl and elastic. I decided to go with green as opposed to black because in most of his appearances, I feel like it was green. For Huntress, she was made from a Black Canary. I just had to repaint her hair and sculpt on her purple earrings. The mask was made from a shampoo bottle and some elastic. I found a 1:6 crossbow for her on eBay. Now, I just need suits for these guys and they are good to go! I'll keep posting my progress...After this, Catwoman in her purple dress at 1:6 scale.

Very clever use for a Black Canary head, I never would have thought of it.

Very cool. I have been thinking of customizing some 13'ers also. The problem is spending $40 or more just for the body. Yikes.

Hey! If you can afford the hobby of customizing those 13 inch figures, go for it!. I love those Earth two characters and I am glad they have brought them back!
I cannot wait to see what you come up with. If you want to show a step by step progress of these, please feel free to IM me. This looks like fun and I am happy to see those two get done.

Which reminds me, I did do an Earth two Robin and it is time I do Huntress (mego scale). I must get to it.

PS. Don't fogert the tiny hints of white and gray in Robin's hair. 13 inches, it should be showing.
