In an early attempt to get some work done on Dave MC's call to tools, here are three angles of the head I just started. Wicked rough. Need to tweak some features that don't line up (eye ridges - I'm lookin' at you) and change the pitch of the front and add an angle to the back of the head fin... then I can start the clean-up work (always my favorite part of a project)

But you know... I can't do everything in six hours.





... now I really have to study for those midterms. Weak.

Let's all give a moment of silence for the brave zombie batman that gave his unlife for the project.

BSG from the '70's was killer and the Cylons were always my favorite part of that show. I used to think when I was a kid that the Cylons could kick the crap out of a bunch of Stormtroopers if it ever came to blows between 'em. Course, being only 6 or 7 at the time, I didn't realize that Stormtroopers were nothin' but dudes in suits and not robots like the Cylons were. So now I'm undecided on what that outcome would be.

So here's the update:
I have a few more fixes to make (it's always something that gets messed up by fixing something else, isn't it?). I did the smoothing work and a bit of the finish work (added the impression panels on the back of the helmet). Probably another hour or so of fixing and I'll be mold ready.



When it's setting up I can start the chest armor/backpack piece.
