Newbie Costume Starter

Hey there

I am new to the forums and costume making. I do a webshow with a muppet style puppet name Faze. He is 17inches tall, no legs, has bendable fingers.
I am interested in making a costume for him, or get one custom made from somebody who is in Toronto.

I liked the patterns you had posted for batman, robin, and how to make capes. I was wondering if i used the same patterns, and took Faze's measurements would that work?

does anybody have patterns for Night owl?

If you were to print off those patterns at 212%, you should get a pattern that would be about the right size. But it's really hard to say without knowing if Faze' dimensions are simialr to a Mego figure. You may have to modify it pretty heavily to get it to fit properly.

As for Night Owl...yeesh. The basic costume would be the same as Superman/Batman, but as for the headdress, cloak/cape thing, You dould probably have to start from scratch. Dave Mc mad a pretty cool Nite Owl some time ago. You might ask him for a tip or two.

so i measured faze

Chest (width) 9iches
Length 11 inches

collar - 10 inches

short sleeve - 4inches
Sleeve width - 8inches

gloves - 6 1/2 inches

so shuld i get that template blown up to big size and what bout the belt and mask
