    Halloween from Long Ago...

Many, many years ago, when I had more energy and more room, I used to set up a special display for both Halloween and Christmas. Here's one from All Hallows Eve:

Love that Vampi! Was the Alien a custom creation?

An old Alien model with some Mego joints integrated to make him an action figure.

very cool. Would love to see that one in person if it still exists.

Love the use of the Monsterizer as well. What castle playset is that?

The Alien still exists, but the joints are fragile (used a modeling plastic in the construction that does not age well). The castle is made from heavy cardboard and covered with copied patterns in the days before I had a computer or printer. It actually just fits/slots together and can be disassembled, based on a small cardboard Halloween castle decoration I have.

The castle is beautiful. I was thinking it was plastic coated cardboard ala the playsets of the 70s. You did a great job at giving it that feel.

It is literally that kind of set. It's covered with Contact plastic adhesive covering. It was inspired by this little cardboard castle from a Halloween punch out book:

Oh man, I love these! I used to set up my action figures for Holidays too, from Middle School onward, but dont' really do it much anymore. Too much trouble to pull them out of their usual displays and put them back again.

Cool figures! Gotta say the Hangman figure looks ominous! Many fun pieces in there!

I Like how elongated man has the best reach of all the stretchers. Then there is the speed squad attacking Grundy. But who was attached to the wooden frame work?
