    I think a screen printed fitting body suit would be a better more Megoesque option. For the best look I would start with a Kroger or CTVT skeleton and build up.

    Steel wool would just put scratches on it. That wouldn't look very much like decay. Gouging out chunks with a razor knife or something might look a little better.
