CTVT pop-on boots into glove-cuffs?

So, I am not a fan of the CTVT pop-on boot-feet and glove hands--not "Mego" for my taste.

But, it occurred to me today that the boot-top might be trimmed from the foot portion and used for glove-cuffs with poseable hands.

Has anyone already tried this?

For my Batman, I cut off the hands from the glove hands, and used them as cuffs with regular hands. It worked ok. I think the boots would be a bit big if used as glove cuffs.

Honestly, I would have preferred to use the glove hands if they were available in alternate hand positions. They are easier to swap than normal hands. But always using the current "right fist, left open" approach can be a bit limiting.

I have never done this, but I do often use the various coloured wrist guards CTVT sells combined with a matching set of hands to give the illusion of gloves.

Spry, I did that for batman, too. But it suddenly occurred to me that boots could make Aquaman, Atom, or other pointed cuffs. And wouldn't the diameter be more accommodating?
