TBD! If it doesn't heal back together I'll get some Curt Connors potion and grow it back. It's my fourth most important finger.

Ouch! Hope you avoided the nail and bone in the above mentioned lopping. I took the end of my left pointer off slicing onions years ago. I did hit the nail, but not the bone. Amazingly, it Connored back almost in the same shape it was originally and I have full use tho it does still feel a little 'different'. I don't notice it unless I am thinking of it, tho. Interesting bonus knowledge I picked up from my little mishap - when all the blood runs out of your fingertip, it looks almost exactly like onion and is very difficult to find in a sliced up pile of them.
