SP: Go ape with your packaging

It's been a good month or so for Planet Of The Apes. I've taken some of the box designs that were only partially finished and completed them for people that wanted them. Just thought I'd let everyone knew the Ape packaging that is out there. The normal POTA box, the Beneath box, The Escape box and the Conquest box. Any of them can be adapted for normal Mego figures or your customs (with a good full lenth photo of your custom). Dr. Zaius and Solder Ape have been worked into the line with photos of my figures, the same can be done for Zira, Verdon and Burke can also be done on request. Also, Galen can be relabeled as Cornelius.

    Such beautiful packaging!

I am still confused as to how to package my apes. My beloved Taylor has a paint chip on his nose from falling down too many times...an upgrade I fear is close at hand.

I love my General Ursus astride his horse though...so what to do...what to do???
Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.
Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness

    To do list:
1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
    1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;

      Nice work.

      Which comes first?

      The Packaging or the Ape?
Too many toys. Not enough space!

If you are going with packaging, then you have to decide boxes vs. cards. cards take up more space, but I think the figures stand out more. It is really a matter of personal appeal

For figures that I want standing about, I bought doll stands. At first I didn't like the look because I had white ones, but then next set I bought were black and they blend in pretty nicely.

If you are interested I can get you the model number of the stands that work pretty well for Megos.

Awesome looking boxes Mike. I have some loose apes that I might have found a nice home for.

Fantabulous! And I really love the "trading card" concept on the back. Awesome work!

Actually as far as the "trading card" concept, he just expertly copied what MEGO did originally... I do like the fact that he added Zaius, Zira, and the Soldier Ape to the "box" lineup though...

Yup, that's right the backs are from the original Mego box and I added on Soldier Ape and Zauis (and when requested I can add Zira, Burke and Verdon). I'm carrying the card color over to the box so Zauis is orange, Solider Ape is green and Zira will be pink
