    resin colorant

What do you guys use to tint the color of your resin? I bought a LOT of resin heads at mego meet, many in rich, vibrant colors.
I like the idea of a base color for certain heads to keep a factory "mego" effect.
    Any advice?

Smooth-on makes a tint called SO-STRONG that is specificaly made to tint urethane casting resins. Be carefull tho, this stuff will stain the heck out of about anything it gets on !

      Hmmmm....

Yeah, the Smooth-On stuff is fantastic; but you gotta experiment a bit. I've had some odd effects from catalytic reactions (the chemicals interacting to produce a weird colour) instead of chromatic reactions. (Which is what you get when the colours react.)
