How is it that the shoes and boots for the male characters are superior to the ones for the female characters?
Ever try putting the Mary Ellen Walton shoes onto a doll with tights? The durned things eventually split. (But then they are made by CTVT, and most of their stuff is dreck, anyway.)
I'd like to see Castaway Toys make some good, rubber shoes for the gals, as well as the guys.
I know that there are fewer female characters than there were male characters, but there are only so many pairs of vintage Barbie sneakers that one can get and put on the doll.
If they don't go with the costume, there goes accuracy out the proverbial window.
I'd also like to see remakes of the Wicked Witch dress, (which CTVT doesn't make anymore, I checked their website), the Mary Ellen Walton dress, as well as some original outfits that can pass as civilian wear for our gals.
Dinah Mite had some cute outfits in the seventies, but we need outfits that are up to date.
I have been looking at the pictures on this board, and I am impressed by the talent, patience, and creativity that you people have.
I especially liked the Leela custom that someone made. It looked better than the one that came out in the 70's, with unarticulated arms and legs, big hair, and crummy boots.
