Cheap source for doll hair - Dollar Tree

The one near me has dress-up headbands for little kids, with artificial hair on them. It should be enough to reroot a Mego head. If you like the hair to look a little thicker, you might want to buy more than one. So far I've found lime green, pink, light purple, bright red, bright blue, orange and black w/ white streaks. Some of them also have tinsel in them, but it's not to pick out. Since I've noticed a few people here seem interested in learning to reroot, I thought this might be a good opportunity to try. If it doesn't turn out well, at least the hairpieces are only a dollar.

Cool tip Del. I maybe going the re-root method. As you may have seen at the Dollar tree. They have the little doll/big head princesses. These are a decent scale fit on Mego females and my source for my Mego heroines . Next time I'll check out the headbands.
    thanx

Thanks for the tip, Del. I haven't the nerve yet but my Wonder Woman is in the house for a future re-root!! I was just going to purchase some fake hair at a wig shop!!
