Resin heads

I've been tinkering with the idea of customizing or rather kitbashing some Megos. My fear is spending $$ on custom, painted resin heads and then the figure falling off the bookshelf and breaking the head. Just how sturdy/strong are these resin heads from Doc, Dave, and the others?

I haven't had a head break from falling off a shelf, unless there is something sticking out from it. I could see an antena breaking off a resin andorian head if it fell just right and landed on one, something like that. I guess if it landed just right on a nose or something it could break off, but I haven't had it happen.

Would would be more likely damage would be paint chipping. With a coat of finish it's protected, but if it hits something just right, the paint will chip. That's easy to fix though.

yea..resin is pretty tough..i've had some fall...and nothing had happened to the heads...
