    Mego Trek Shuttlecrafts..

I'm new to the Forum, but obviously a long time collector (from the first issue removable masks..). Has anyone ever attempted a TOS Galileo over the last few years..? Just curious what could be done with PVC pipe for nacelles, sheet plastic. If anyone had pics, I'd love to see them.

    Again, just curious ~

I know I saw one someplace as well.

I think Captain Mego did one too...search the old boards for it.

I wouldn't be surprised if johnmiic had done one. That seems right up his alley. He does some amazing stuff with foam board and plastic.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

It wasn't me. I remember someone posted pics on the old boards but I couldn't find it. If I make one, I would want it to have the authentic curves and angles like the shooting miniature but it would have to seat 4-6 figures to satisfy me and at that scale it would just be too big to keep in my apartment. Of course if the guy who runs the Toy and Train museum wanted one for a permanent display I might be convinced to make a permanent one in wood and plastic. It would be a lot of work tho.

If I remember right, the pictures were from a shuttle somebody had made and was selling on e-bay. It looked ok, but it stood too tall to look right. ---In other words, it was built for play and not scaled to the actual craft dimensions....which were actually smaller than the interior set used for the series.

Doc Mego mentioned an interest in making a shuttle/playset for the EMCE figures when he first announced them, but nothings been announced as of yet.

I made a weak attempt at a "priority box" version a few years back. Can't even find the picture right now, but its nothing I ever considered finished or worthy of display.

Thanks for all the feedback.. Great idea for Doc Mego ~ I wonder if this would be an idea for Dida Displays or not.. Again, nothing necessarily that detailed or elaborate, but just a thought.

While I ponder whether it would have been a cool addition to the original run of the Trek licensing, I shudder to imagine it would have had all sorts of 'rainbow' type highlights, etc, much like the Bridge set did. I'd assume that if they'd had gone the plastic molding route, it would have been an eyesore like the Batcopter.. Thoughts anyone..?

Wow, that's great, I remember that Titans Tower too. Cool stuff.

Looking at that and the general wedge shape...heck yeah, you could do one with a Dida set on it's side...

Man that was incredible! That was a great shuttle craft, and bridge. Two pieces I liked alot was the Bat-map & Bat rope. Did you buy those or make them yourself?
