Custom Zorro head and hat ideas?

Been considering making a custom Zorro for many years now. While I like the CHiPs hands, considering using Blackbeard boots instead of Trek legs. Dr Mego pirate outfit looks great. My main question is what would be the best head and hat? On many of the customs I've seen, the hat seems to be very loose on the head. Also interest in all custom Zorro ideas.

I think you are spot-on about the gloved hands and buccaneer boots with a DM suit. You could use CTVT black knee-socks under the boots. You might also add a sash, whip.

I don't think you can get around using a repro hat, but I think it may fit more to your liking on another head. I used a vintage Scotty head for my Lone Ranger with good results--you might consider that or a vintage Capt. Marvel (Shazam!) head.

Also, when adding the mustache, use acrylic paint; a permanent marker will bleed into the vinyl head.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Be careful with the black socks the dye leached out and stained a couple of my figures. At first I thought I had mold going on...lol
Use them but just wash them first.ctvt has some excellent black gloved hands you could use instead of chips hands.

I used a Ricky Ricardo head from CTVT with a cloth bandana/mask, and a hat from CTVT also. Looked really good, (had the same smile as Zorro from the old Disney series), but that head is hard to find now.
