By the way, can you tell which heads these are by the neck plugs? They are not the same head.

Sorry I've been slow mailing the Batman head, I can't get to the post office at lunch. So I'm having my wife mail it tomorrow...her job is closer.

The Batman head did NOT survive the acetone! Don't try to shrink these new heads with acetone!

I'm curious about 2 things: #1: for how long it was in the acetone before it exploded? and #2: was this the first shrink on the head, or a second/third one? Thanks. I'm currently shrinking the Batgirl '66 head,& only on the second shrink; *so far*, I'm happy with it.

What color is the Batgirl head cast in? Did the paint come off instantly, or get rubbed off? How long do you soak for?

I left it in the acetone for about an hour. It was a first attempt. It fell apart when I touched it. It looked like it was working great until I disturbed it.

Ok, This is what happened to me. I had a 1/6 head with blue spots that was perfect mint. It was a KO Tommy Gunn head(either Mego Fighting Yank version or Action Buddy. Anyway It had the green/blue dots fungus on face. In an attempt to kill the fungus I soaked it in alcohol for a few days took it out then resoaked it for several more days and forgot it for a few more days. This shrunk the head. It is now Big Jim scale was Gijoe scale. I have been using alcohol for 20 years on vintage Joe heads to remove flock with little to no problems before this. Anyone know what happened?

I've done a few heads from FTC with no problems, Al and Bid Bundy. I've never left it in for as long as you have, maybe 15-20 minutes.
