    FTC Fist Fighters Bodies

    Hey Folks,

I have a couple of customs in mind and wanted to ask how the condition of the FTC, F F bodies are?
and is there any issues with placing a Mego head onto it?

I originally was going to pick up Mego F F bodies, but it's cheaper going thru FTC especially if you
want a bunch, but I don't want to find out after that their junk or need restringing and the Mego
heads won't fit, don't want a wobbly head, or have to bother my contact in helping me out again.

I simply want to put a Mego head on a FTC fist fighter, or am I better off using an original Mego
    F F body?

    Thanks.

Most Mego heads are loose in the FF Mego body. The Fist Fighting heads have a wider neck plug. Just slightly. When I made my custom FF figures, I put something in the neck's hole to widen it slightly. I made some cool figures. Never took pictures of most of them.

      they display well.
they are a little bit loose in the arms.

also, not too good at holding poses.
unless the pose is a running pose...then it looks awesome.

      aw yeah.

So the the only modification needed would be to widen the F F mego body neck hole to fit the non F F mego head?
what did you use? this is basically going to be a quick bash simple custom I wanted to do on my own.

Thanks for the info, it sounds like I might be better off with going Mego instead of FTC for this, too many minor
issues with looseness in the arms and not holding a pose very well.

          I appreciate your help, thanks.

I don't know about non-Mego heads. If you widen the body neck hole, the heads will fall out. The head needs a wider neck to fit in the larger hold of the body. I used a pen cap inside the neck of the head to widen the neck where it sits in the hole. And the bottom of the plug needs to be trimmed, because of the inner workings. The fist fighters have the shortest neck plug.
