    resin head pricing

So, how much should unpainted resin heads be sold for? How about painted ones? Am I trying to get too much by charging eight to ten dollars for unpainted heads shipped? It's around two dollars and sixty five cents to ship one head in the mail. Or are my character choices lame? I just haven't been able to make very many sales with the heads I've been producing. Thanks for any comments or insight.

Ten bucks seems like a good price to me depending on what it is.
If it's something common, like a repo of Captain Kirk for example, maybe it wouldn't get that much.
If it's an original sculpt, I think ten might be too low.

Are you selling them on Ebay?
Expectation is the death of discovery.

I think your prices are entirely reasonable and compare with others. And, I like the Wolverine offering.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Eight to ten bucks shipped for an unpainted head is a bargain. I regularly pay 10 to 12 plus shipping. I have no problem paying that much for quality castings. I probably bought over 50 heads in this price range in the last few months.

Early cost rely on high prices. When I started I charged $12 with shipping on ebay. Later I learn to reduce the cost to $10 with shipping. After that, my brother made some insane BIN auctions on ebay, that didn't even cover the work I put into the castings. They sold, go figure.
If you just recast a head casting: $5-$10, depending on how many are ordered by a single purchase.
If you have altered the head, by shinking or enlarging, or sculpture manipulation casting. $10-$15.
If it's a totally original sculpt casting: $15-$25.

$10 is the average...but I'll pay more for the right sculpt.

$10 sounds good to me very reasonable.
