CTVT Bodysuit On Type S Body Question

Hello everyone. I have a question regarding the CTVT regular bodysuit on the Zica Type S body. The suit fits, but it's very tight at the top around the neck and shoulder area. So much so, that there is a fairly large area of flesh around the neck that the suit just won't cover. I was wondering if anyone has come up with a way of covering this short of stitching an extra collar piece onto the CTVT suit. I've tried a few things, including stick on craft felt and black tape stuck to the body under the suit in this area, but neither looked particularly good. Thanks for looking.

are you using boots on the figure?

if so you can try cutting a hole in the feet of the suit to be able to pull the suit up higher

I've taken to turning the suits inside out, and then using a seam ripper, DE-stictching the feet up to a 1/2 inch from tip of foot to about ankle.
this allows the suit to sit right on the figures it adds back 1/2 inch to the crotch when pulled up, which then also fixes the collar problem.
then as Vinny said, boots will hide the problem.

if FTC would add just 1/2 inch to the waist or crotch, we wouldn't have to "fix" their suits...same with their shorts and tunics,
which are a bit trickier as you actually have to add "cloth" to fix it.

Thanks, I never thought of doing that. I'll give it a try later.

Keep in mind the suits are made for their bodies and mostly type 2 bodies. - and the type S are actually taller then mego type 2 and ftc bodies - that is why you might see this issue pop up again on another project.

I just found their black bodysuits were not usable on original Mego type2. For whatever reason they can fit on a Mattel Retro body - tight but fits better then on the T2.

Sometimes I paint the body around the top chest to coverup and showing flesh.

Instead of cutting the suit or opening the seam, I just popped the feet off of the Type S body. Worked like a charm. Thanks again for the tips.
