1:6 Dejah Thoris Princess of Mars custom suggestions?

I really like the Dejah Thoris prototype that Triad Toys created a few years ago, but sadly, this figure was never produced.

Over the years, numerous artists have interpreted her appearance in many different ways.

Triad Toys reused this head sculpt on a figure that I do own.

Any ideas on how best to dress her? I already have several 1/6 swords.

I would cover her body in plastic wrap and sculpt those pieces on top. With Aves Apoxy or something like it.

I've come across several 1/6 female fantasy warriors that might have suitable armor. Wish I could remember some specific names.

Thanks for the suggestions. Much appreciated.

I like the red Valkyrian outfit by Triad Toys, although I know it's not accurate to the books description.

          As Burroughs describes Dejah Thoris:

And the sight which met my eyes was that of a slender, girlish figure, similar in every detail to the earthly women of my past life... Her face was oval and beautiful in the extreme, her every feature was finely chiseled and exquisite, her eyes large and lustrous and her head surmounted by a mass of coal black, waving hair, caught loosely into a strange yet becoming coiffure. Her skin was of a light reddish copper color, against which the crimson glow of her cheeks and the ruby of her beautifully molded lips shone with a strangely enhancing effect.

She was as destitute of clothes as the green Martians who accompanied her; indeed, save for her highly wrought ornaments she was entirely naked, nor could any apparel have enhanced the beauty of her perfect and symmetrical figure.

Funny; when I think of Valkyrie, I think of the one from Marvel comics, who rarely wore a skirt.

More like Xena armor sculpted on top of a legless leotard, rather than armor on a kind of girly garment.

Of course, nothing could be more ridiculous than Red Sonja's outfit, which was a metal bikini (worn in Northern Europe???)

Deja Thoris is actually one of the nicer figures that I saw from Triad. It's a shame that it was never produced. Of course, most of their stuff was super pricey, but that didn't bother me.

I think that sculpting on top of plastic wrap is an excellent idea.

As long as there are no overly curious felines or kids in the household. If there are, you KNOW they are going to be attracted to what you are doing, and are bound to stick their little noses in it.

I wish I had the talent to sculpt something similar to the TRIAD prototype. Unfortunately, I don't.

From the artwork I've seen, the actress in John Carter was overdressed.
You'd also have to figure out giving her red skin color.
