find a Hasbro Signature Series Doc Ock, they are a bit too small for 9 inch, so probably perfect for Mego.

they are quite expensive especially with shipping so might have to think of making something i was looking at a sink unblocker today wondering if that would work.

I think most customizers, myself included, have considered repurposing tentacles from existing toys.

But I think Mego would have done cloth screen-printed tentacles sewn into the sides of the bodysuit--you could kick these up a notch by wiring them.

I would suggest a piece of insulated copper wire and some Plastruct pipe that the wire will fit snuggly inside of. Cut the pipe into segments the length you want them and slide them onto the wire. You can superglue them in place on the wire or just superglue the end pieces, but don't glue the individual segments together or they won't flex. One end of the wire can be left exposed to insert into the figure.

When I was a kid we use to take my Mom's grabber tool for getting laundry out from behind the dryer and use it as a Doc Oc arm. I'm not sure what it was called, but it looked just like his tentacle and had the grabber claws on the end too. Not sure if one or more could be re-purposed into a working set of arms for a figure or not.

I've been toying around with that idea for a while, I just sort of fell out of love with Spider-Man customs
