    You've convinced me! I will give this a shot and also cancel my Mego Gallery display in Death Valley. (I'm the only one who ever shows up, so no big loss)

        Good stuff. I broke a lucite prop handle and used it for a repair. Insta-morph is very durable. My only complaint is that it doesn't always smooth onto surfaces, so there is sometimes a noticeable seam. Thanks for the tip about chalk pastels!

          I've used InstaMorph as well and can also speak very highly of it. It's easy to work, takes color well, and if you mess up, you can reheat it and start over again. It's very tough when it hardens.

          There are other brands as well - they are made from a chemical called polycaprolactone
