Robin 9" Hasbro figure on a Mego-type body?

This might not count as a real custom, but has anyone taken the Hasbro 9" scale Silver Age Robin figure and moved it onto a Mego-type body?

After seeing the FTC 1st Appearance series, I am curious to see how this would look and how difficult it would be to do.

    Thanks!

The uniform can be removed and fits a type s or other mego body pretty well. I used a razor to cut the stitching and put it on the new body then just sewed it up. I used a different belt but the one that comes with the figure fits a mego too. I don't really know how much you're wanting to do. I used a different head.

        Thanks, TomStrong!

Are those CTV hands that you used?

Not sure what I want to do yet. First, I have to find my two sets of these (I think I have two). The costume part would be the most daunting part, as I cannot sew. And I need to see the scale of the head. I know these are for 9-inch scale figures, but I always though the Robin head was on the smaller side.

Yea the head is smaller. but I think it might transfer although I've never done it. The head on ebay looks like a direct cast. The hands are from CTVT I wrapped a small amount of duct tape around the peg provided with the gauntlets and worked them into the type s body. The gauntlets just popped right on. As for the costume, you don't have to cut it all the way off. Just cut enough at the top in the back where the seem is to get it to come off.

            Great! Thanks again, TomStrong!

I think I am going to look into it.
