Polymorph, a new generation of polymer

    Hi all

I just saw this article at the MAKE:blog about a new molding material called Polymorph.

"Polymorph is one of a new generation of commercial polymers set to have a major impact on model making and prototyping. This polymer has all the characteristics of a tough “engineering” material yet it fuses and becomes easily mouldable at just 62°C. It can be heated with just hot water or a hairdryer and moulded by hand to create prototypes and solve manufacturing problems currently outside the capacity of other materials."

Quote from this site that sells it:

Sounds neat to me. what do you all think? Any ideas for uses?

It reminds Me of the Epoxy Putty I use...made by Citadel Colour. It comes in a green & yellow band, and You combine the two...to activate the Epoxy. It's great Stuff...You can sculpt Masks & Hair with it easily...and if it starts to harden, You just dip it in hot Water.

No cooking required(unlike Sculpy)...and no bleed(like Plummers Putty), which is great if You're sculpting over an existing Head.
