    Ideas for parachute and backpacks?

Somewhat realistic, not AJ working parachute....everything I've come across is either too big (1:6) or too small. It wouldn't be too difficult to make the pack, but the straps and webbing are a challenge.

What about the Lion Rock stuff? Would any of the WW 2 stuff work?

Thanks, that's a good idea but all I've seen are just simple bags without detail or realism. I'm not looking for 100% accuracy, but something more than a velcro-sealed bag with shoulder straps. I'd think a basic backpack wouldn't be too hard to make myself, but with my minimal pattern and sewing experience maybe that's a project for the future.

A few years back there was a 7" Roger Moore 007 figure that had a backpack with parachute. It was a little big, so it might work on an 8" figure. Don't know if you can find one though?

Yes, that 007 set looks promising, even the color of the pack is good for my purposes. So far I've only seen at around $40 MIP, still looking for it loose. Oddly the female figure in that series goes for just a few dollars. NO parachute with her, though.
