    Stage and Screen Icons

Many moons ago when I was part of Cast-A-Way Toys (and for a little while after), I had the idea of releasing a series of figures called "Stage and Screen Icons". Peter Sellers was to be first in that group. Elvis and Marilyn Monroe were on my wish list. I also liked the idea of adding Bruce Lee, Steve McQueen, etc.

My thinking was that this would allow us/me to make some really iconic figures as part of a series. Figures that don't necessarily lend themselves to being released as part of a team or group (for example - all the cast members from Big Bang Theory, or the Waltons, or whatever).

Over the past few years, I've been building my own dream team of what those figures could have been. Unfortunately, my dream never happened on a large scale. But now I'm happy to plug away at these one at a time. Here's what I've gotten so far...

    Fresh, not from concentrate.

Great customs! Love the facial expression on Vegas jumpsuit Elvis!
I post in thy general direction!

Those are great and show a lot of personality. Maybe this is Mego heresy, but I've always preferred the more realistic designs over the comic or exaggerated features.
