I've got an FTC shirt on the way that is slightly brighter than I need. It's a button up plaid shirt that I would like to look weathered. My first thought was a diluted bleach soak but I've never done that so any thoughts?

Fading an FTC shirt
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

Don't know how quickly you want it weathered, but a good way to fade fabric is mix 1 part white vinegar, I part hydrogen peroxide, some common table salt and some water. Mix 'me all together, and don't wring it out, just hang it out in strong sunlight for a little while (or until you reach the desired level of weatheredness). Works for blue jeans.sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon. -
I've done a coffee soak, then rinse and dry in the sun, that dirties it up pretty good, then drybrush dust and light greys to weather it.You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

I might buy a couple of shirts and experiment. I'm going to make a run of these if successful. Essentially I'm taking an FTC blue plaid shirt and trying to make it look like flannel.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
