FTC shoulder adjustment for male bodies

So with the new FTC male bodies, I've found that the arms tend to stick out to the sides too much. I know it looks like I'm waterboarding my figures but I have used this technique and it can really help.

I let them hang in pretty hot (not boiling) water with the arms tight to the sides. This seems to allow the plastic in the top of the arm where the hook grabs it to soften enough that the hooks readjust/move to allow better posing. I leave them in until the water cools and then leave them banded for about a week or so. I did this with the bodies for both my Green Lantern and Blue Lantern customs and although the arms don't stay straight down at least they aren't sticking out like they are trying to fly.

I've been replacing all the rubber bands with o rings and that fixes it, too. Works really well on the older FTC and BBP figures, too.

What size O rings are you using and where do you get them?
