Mego Workspace?

Until this past weekend I did most of my Megoing in the kitchen. Saturday I had an awful resin accident and now I have hardened plastic on my floor, counters, and cabinets ( and my hands too). I think it's time to find a better work area. What type of work area you have? Please share pictures. I think there was a similar thread a couple of years ago, but I would like to see recent pics.

Next project is a miniature Japanese Ramen stand. I saw a kit on both Ebay and Amazon.com. They're generally described as "Billy dollhouse Showa noodle shop stand kit" But, the stand is clearly too small for my purposes. A seller on Etsy described it as: 4-1/2" high, 1/24 scale with 1/12 scale dishes and utensils. And, since the kit is from Japan, it costs $65.00! And I am unwilling to pay $65 for a stand that is not proportioned correctly for my figures. After referring to the photos showing the Ramen Stand from various angles, I decided to make one FROM SCRATCH. It really doesn't seem to have any complex parts, and I have plenty of plywood in the garage. After printing the pictures and punching the dimensions into a calculator, I decided to scale it up to 3/4" scale (3/4" = 1 foot, meaning it's meant for 4-1/2" figures). Here's some of the parts being cut in my garage. A saber saw is one of my favorite tools, once I learned how to use a carpenter's square as a saw guide after watching a YouTube video.

In the garage, next to the electrical service box.

It's (4) 5 gallon buckets, 2 Handy bucket-builders, a 2x4 cut in half, and a board on top.

Many advantages:

If something spills, it's in the garage so nobody will sweat it.
Testors enamel paint and Gorilla Glue smell horrible, so the garage is the ONLY place to use them.
"Please use in a well-ventilated place". No problem, it's next to the garage door. Garage door can be opened.
Located right next to an electrical outlet and a light.
Can be taken down quickly if someone needs the space.
Sandpaper can be taped onto the board so you get an instant flat sanding board.
Can use power tools there, too.

kitchen table and in front of the computer in the former laundry room. Big plastic boxes with bodies and fabric. Some smaller ones with bits, heads and junk.

The dinning table is covered in Super-Soldiers getting their heads painted. I'm also working on more Amalgams at the same time.

Spare bedroom. I work on a 6" table I bought at Home Depot. Surrounding it, under it and on it are boxes of fabric, sewing machine, mold making materials, bodies, spare parts, etc. And the walls are covered in figures ranging from POTA to Alien to WGSH (both original and custom), SMDM and BW, etc. Somewhere in here I know there is a bed as well!

" Don't mind the mess"

When I moved 2 years ago I was exiled to a room in the basement which soon filled with boxes as a catch all. this winter I knew 2 things: 1) If i ever wanted to start working on customs I would have to reclaim my office and 2) I would need to EXPAND!!!!! (insert maniacal laugh here)
Although it's still chaotic and contains many things that still need to be packed up this is where sculpting, casting, assembly, painting, and whatever else will be. Three 6' folding tables replaced my old desk along with bookcase shelving. to the right of my "desk" plastic drawers hold bodies accessories clothes molds and not pictured is a hanging shoe organizer with spare body parts.

I took a large area of the room to thr right of my office to set up my silk screening area

and I share the family room, setting up a sewing area using our old dinning room table. Best part of that is getting to sew wile watching the 50" tv
