    Muscle Body Recommendations?

I've been getting into rebuilding my Mego collection and building my own custom Megos for the past few months (mostly buying costumes and heads, some painting - HUGE shout outs and "very much thank yous" to Brian Leitner and Austin at Reproheads!). One of the things that glares out at me, though, is the small stature of the original Mego Thing and the Hulk. I'm curious, has anyone found or made bulky, muscular bodies that can be used for such characters?

I know Austin has the lengthened legged Hulk Bodies on his site, and they are tempting (I'll probably pick 'em up anyway), but I'm also looking for bodies that have some more mass and bulk to them. I did see the Marvel Legends Grey Hulk - are there a lot of bodies in that line that are Mego scale?

I originally considered the Famous Covers Hulk, but that thin waist and those hands kind of killed that idea.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Pics of suggested figures next to a Type2 Mego would help!

    Thanks again!

Great recommendations and much appreciated - thanks guys! - but I'm looking for muscular bodies that look more Hulk-like in appearance. Guys like the Hulk, Thing, Abomination are pretty massive and heavy looking - something like this:

but at either 8" or 9" scale max. Somebody posted an Absorbing Man figure custom next to a Marvel Legends Grey Hulk - that might do the trick. Any advice?

I once stuck a 9" body on 8" legs for my Bane.

Maybe you could fix this to Hulk legs?

Wait and see what comes out in conjunction with the new Hulk movie. There might be something that will work.

Yeah, I was thinking the same, Thunderbolt. In the interim, I'll keep on looking. Thanks, everyone!
