    3D Printing Pen

    Saw this about two or three months ago in Hammacher Schlemmer. Someone I work with just bought this for his son and it refreshed my memory. This would work create for custom work or even general toy repair

    Very cool idea. Having trouble imagining what I could use it for, though. I'll have to check out some of the vids to see what other folks have done.

      Reminds me less of 3D printing and more of hot glue.

        I used to use hot-glue kind of like that. I would push the sticks through instead of using the trigger.

          I was thinking hot glue as well, and my "gun" just works via pushing the glue stick through but I doubt I could get a standing strip like that.

            umm, its basically a fine tip hot glue gun.

                  The whole point being something like this would be great for detailing where sculpting the smaller details (for some of us) may be a problem. I can see using this for quite a number of things

                        It's just a little stiffer and hardens faster than hot glue, it would appear.
