In mego scale? I almost think I'd just paint them silver with the proper black shape outline. I don't think the black pinholes would have shown up on an original MEGO, and they may clutter it up now. -

There were several styles of lens used throughout the series. There was a dark smoked lens, like sunglasses. There was a more silver mirrored finish. And then the one shown above. You could probably get away with doing the mirrored lens at mego scale, and it would still capture the overalll look without driving yourself crazy trying to replicate the holes at that scale.Comment

I wonder if you could do some type of halftone pattern like these...
When I worked at the newspaper in college, the cartoonists had sheets of this stuff lying around for shading. From my brief search on-line, everything seems to be digital now.Fresh, not from concentrate.Comment

I received a decal from AAA for my car awhile back, and the remainder of the sticker has a silver finish with some dots on the edges. Looks quite a bit like the pattern in Spidey's eye.
