    Cape Fraying Clean up

Just wanted to ask what's the best way to clean up cape fraying issues?

I'm not thinking scissors, maybe a box cutter kife? it's for a mego Superman cape
so the cape is not detachable, never had to attempt this before so this will be the
first time trying and don't want to mess up.

any ideas please let me know and thanks!

I use a pair of small mustache trimming scissors. Just trim the frays back to the edge,
    Works for me.

Absolutely^^^, Scissors are the better way to go. The box cutter has no support if you drag it wrong say goodbye to the cape.

A high quality pair of fabric shears are valuable to cutting any fabric cleanly, from muslin to leather.

I use high-grade fabric scissors--I have one expensive pair I only use for cutting linings, sheers, etc.--and capes lol.

I bought several grades and sizes of shears at JoAnn's during a sale and have never regretted it.

I can't imagine using a box cutter, for reasons mentioned above, plus they are not nearly as sharp as good shears.
