How well do you think these would work in customizing suits?

for instance in doing red stripes on a white Doc Mego Suit, or in making red and orange flame accents on a pink female suit? I know that nothing beats silk screening but on a budget? thoughts?

i've used fabric markers & they work great not just on white either.

That looks great. Did you start with white fabric and color in the gray and yellow or ???. Know some fabric markers are made for only white fabrics and some are for darker fabrics. Curious about your process. Thx.
