Help with Viking figures

Any idea of what I can use for the Viking helmet and chain-mail heads?

I need a similar kind of helmet, too--looking forward to suggestions.

To make the chain mail, I'd try some window screen. Form fit it on the head and then cover it with clear glue. You could also try sewing it to the right shape.
