straightening nylon hair

does anyone know how to straighten the nylon hair on a female head.

Boiling-water perm never fails. However, you may wish to leave just the tiniest amount of a wave in the hair as some straight doll hair looks quite utterly unnatural. Good luck!

cheers for that i am trying to do a mantis custom and all the heads have wavy hair.

i have done the suit .i am colouring the hair black at he moment but mantis has a fringe i might even have to draw the fringe on.

mine looks similar but i've made the side bits stick out further on the suit.still not sure about the fringe on her hair though .going to try make mine look more oriental i hope.

see what you mean about straightening the hair it makes it really thin & wispy.wish doc mego did the different coloured female hair heads like ctvt but they are astronomically high on shipping costs to the u.k.
