I own a flocking machine and mine consists of three parts, a transformer , a positive charge wand with a cup to hold the flock, and a negative charge clip that attaches to the object you are flocking. You first paint on adhesive to the areas of the piece you want to flock, and quickly attach the negative charge clip to the piece itself or a conductive rod that that can fit throgh a hole in the piece ( like a neck hole,) then you aim the possitive charge wand at the piece and press the charge button. The possitively charged flock is then drawn to the negativly charged adhesive by electomagnetic force.
As a result of the static charge the flock filaments stand on end. Then you carfully unclip everything a set the piece aside with nothing touching the flock for several hours until the adheasive compleately dries. I hope this helps .

    Best-o-luck

You explained it a lot better than I could have

I currently do between 50 to 100 GI Joe/ Action Men a week.
I have a converted garage as my work shop.

That's one of the reasons Iv decided to collect mego...when you work on the same GI Joe face over and over again you tend to get a bit fed up of them

It was a nice change to do Kirk and Bones

              Praise be Shatner.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Pretty cool. I've always wanted an Adventure Team Joe with just a mustache. When Hasbro starting re-doing the AT in the 90s with all the new facial hair styles I thought they would make one but they didn't.

I always wondered what a Mego head would look like flocked. Awesome pics Burt!

                                Cool stuff!

That Kirk reminds me of a Gold Key Trek comic where Kirk disguised himself with a 'fro to go undercover. your Kirk custom looks just like that!

What do you charge to do a flocked Mego head? (feel free to PM me if you dont want to talk pricing in this thread)
