Hi all, Flocking isn,t really a technique you can accomplish without specialized equipment.
I own a flocking machine and mine consists of three parts, a transformer , a positive charge wand with a cup to hold the flock, and a negative charge clip that attaches to the object you are flocking. You first paint on adhesive to the areas of the piece you want to flock, and quickly attach the negative charge clip to the piece itself or a conductive rod that that can fit throgh a hole in the piece ( like a neck hole,) then you aim the possitive charge wand at the piece and press the charge button. The possitively charged flock is then drawn to the negativly charged adhesive by electomagnetic force.
As a result of the static charge the flock filaments stand on end. Then you carfully unclip everything a set the piece aside with nothing touching the flock for several hours until the adheasive compleately dries. I hope this helps .
