    12" Megos?

After scouring the forums, I see there's not much activity with 12" Megos. Is this a scarcity issue or is it just the huge availability of the 12" body from so many other manufacturers? FTC. Offers a 12" body, but it's pricy compared to some other sellers (Cottswald for example). I like the Mego body, but finding resources is almost impossible.

Fo rme the 12 inch Mego's are okay but more of an oddity in regards to my nostalgia connection. I can't speak for everyone of course but I think a lot of the difference in the fan base for the two is that the 8 inch line had EVERYBODY and the 12 inch only had a very limited assortment in comparison.

I think Mego would have used very similar bodies to what are around now if they were still operating.

But yes, there never seems to be any of the 12" Mego bodies on ebay when I look.

I do have one that I was going to use for a Conan ( or even a naked Terminator custom ). If you want it pm me.

As a kid back in the 1970's 8 inch Megos were in almost every department store. I never even knew of a 12 inch Mego until I became a member in here. I am sure they were sold somewhere but I never saw them.

To me they are just too big to display and customized and expensive.

There's a member herein that does a lot of work with 12" Megos. I think his name is Jordiway (or something like it). He had made some really cool custom 12" Megos. You may want to PM for any particular guidance/consulting.

I did a Dr Steel and a Fonz in 12 inch scale (that's me in the middle). I'd like to do more, but the parts are too expensive to make it habit. The 8 inch ones cost enough.
