Thanks - Rob
I will honestly say my improved photo's have been inspired by your shots and other members shots of their figures. They looked so good seeing figures posed that I just had to start doing it. - Your pics remind me of little scenes really awesome work to see those shots/clips.
Where to start - For me the pose-ability is not a make or break deal for me - I'm more happy just to have or make the figure. Also I will add in years past I was kinda scared to handle the figures especially the customs. I think the break through for me as far as posing them was when I got the BK Hawkeye. For some reason I did not have the fear and once I picked it up I was in almost full blown play mode. After seeing how much fun it was to pose him and play with him it really opened the door for the figures I made or bought after him. If you notice the pics I posted prior to him they are real basic - they just stand next to their box doing nothing.
Now I try to come up with cool ideas and new stuff. Now my customs are no where as pose able as the big dogs so there will be a limit as to how I can pose them. But figures Like Hawkeye and Green Goblin I was really able to go to town with the pictures.
Since getting over my fear or phobia of breaking them - I have plans on getting a better camera very soon and re-taking pictures of my whole collection 1 figure at a time. I also plan to do up grades to my customs at that time as well. So it should be pretty cool.
But for me it wont be a deal breaker if they can't pose to well (won't stop me from buying or making)
It will just be an added bonus if they do pose well.
Most of mine end up in clamshells, boxes or 2 packs - again due to my fear/phobia's they will get messed up if I do not keep them nice and safe.
