Are customizers going to buy FTC figures?

This is a question just for the customizer's - are you going to buy FTC figures of characters that you've already made as customs? Example. the newly announced Bizzaro - many of us have made our own Bizarro so how many are now going to buy the FTC Bizarro? Also for future waves of figures like Hawkman.

Personally I'm not sure if I will buy characters that I've done as customs. Funds are limited and I can't buy everything anyways so why duplicate something I've already done the way I like.

I'm not really a customizer myself, but I collect them and do some kit bashing.

I'm in a wait and see mode. I may collect the whole FTC line or just pick and choose. I'm really impressed with their street clothes. I wish Alfred hadn't of sold out. The suit would be a nice base for a Brett Maverick and/or Bat Masterson figure.

I have a feeling I'll be buying some of their figures to help me kitbash. The 66 Joker was a nice base for a Nicholson Joker for me.

I love Superman. If their Superman suit is good, I'll probably buy some of them and put different Superman heads casts on the body. same with Green lantern and Flash. I want to convert a Metaluna the Mutant into a Green Lantern at some point.

Solomon Kane has a lot of neat clothes that could be used for other things.

As someone who just got through doing some Hanna Barbera customs, I'm anxious to see the rumored Space Ghost. But I'll probably buy it anyway. I'll pick up Bizarro because I don't have one, but I've got two original Mego Supermen and the EMCE so unless its just super spectacular I'll probably pass. I did pick up the Batman wave three and was just google eyed.

I'm with Austin and SeattleEd. Out of the latest releases, I'll pick up Korak, Jane and maybe Kull.

I'm hoping the final products look better than the prototypes, especially of Bizzaro and Solomon Kane.

I predict a few customizers will be picking up dirt cheap FTC bodies from people who are transferring them to Type S or EMCE BODIES.

I don't do much in this scale so yeah, I am picking them up, Batman 66 for sure and maybe the new Super-Villains/heroes I don't have already. Kane if they fix his noggin, he's really classic Mego looking other than that big problem.

I'm in the "not if I've already made it" camp. But if it's on my wishlist that I gavent gotten to yet and I like the finished product, then I will buy, to save myself some work.

I plan on buying the ftc conan and switching it over to an original zica body that I have had in storage for sometime.

I think FTC will be always be attractive to customizers. The chance to purchase all those custom and repro parts and pieces. Just imagine retro Alfred with a head that really goes with the original Mego look. There are some great custom/recasts heads available to choose from. As much as the retro Alfred head bothers me, I'm just so impressed with the suit and body.
