    In need of some assistance

Among some of the things I have been working on is Batman & Robin from the TV show.
I have checked out about a dozen or so custom pieces to gain ideas. The eyes are rather complicated and seriously make or break the figure.

Regardless, my question is actually in the suits.
I was able to pick through some stuff at Joanne's Fabs and found the perfect material for bot Batman and Robin's capes. They're cut and ready to be sewn.

My question is, what would I use for Robin's shirt, pants and gloves?

When you look at the Burt Wrad pics on Google the colors are not exactly red or green. I should say they're not the bright red or bright green I find in a fabric store. The lycra spandex thing seems to bright.

    advice is appreciated.

    Hmmmm....

Go to the nearest "Goodwill" or "St. Vincent dePaul" outlet and look through the t-shirts. You might be able to find something usable. That's what I do for a lot of the customs I make.

And if you can, donate a couple extra bucks too. It's for a good cause.

While you are at the Goodwill, check out womens bathing suits, one piece in particular. Sometimes you can fid some interesting colors or patterns and the fabric is really stretchy.

Of course, taking them to the cashier is often awkward.....
Expectation is the death of discovery.
