What I did was drilled a hole in his back and added a dowel to the wings. It is effective

Hawkman.jpg I just looked at the back of my custom Hawkman that I bought in Winnipeg and there is a small sheet metal screw holding the wings to the body.

I used crazy glue that had a purple tint to it and it's still holding. I was pretty impressed. I was afraid a screw would destroy the foam. I tried to find a place where the contours were similar and stuck it to it.

here are some pics of mine. Its held so far, I mean I'm not letting the kids hang him outside the car window when we drive down the road but its been good enough to stay on to and from school in a backpack and on display. I think I used crazy glue gel which didn't seem as runny.

Thanks Tom. If I have to use glue then so be it. Wanted to try to avoide it because they weren't behind glued to the body my outfit has a cloth top.

I didn't consider a cloth top in the mix. Velcro like Kosmickenny suggested? Post it when finished

You do not need a big screw to hold them in place, they are made of foam and are light.

I went the glue rout for the time being... Not confident enough in my skills to drill into the back... Waiting on emblems then he will join his brothers in White Light

I opened the chest, and ran the screw from the inside of the body out, so you could not see it.
