Sculpting Over Rotocast? What Kind of Material?

I picked up a CTVT skull head, the soft Rotocast rubbery one.

I would like to sculpt over it some bits of grime and flesh, not to cover up the skull completely, but to add detail over it.

What kind of material will work well for mating with the soft rubbery head? I assume I need a clay compound that has a bit of elasticity to it, so that the material doesn't crumble if the rubber flexes.

    Any suggestions from the pros?

Or, while I'm at it, can anyone recommend a good resin skull that looks more realistic than the CTVT one?

Andy, take a chunk of extra resin you have laying around and sand or grind it up into a fine powder. Mix the powder thoroughly with rubber cement, and use that. As for a skull head, I think the oversized ones on those new Realm of the Underworld figures might work.

I've seen mego skull heads on eBay all the time.
