How fragile are the CTVT Fat Bodies?

Are the Fat bodies that CTVT sells leftovers from the era of brittle India manufacturing, or will they hold together all right if you look at them funny?

Checked CTVT site and the fat bodies are the left-overs from the India production.
I've restrung these bodies with great success. Some cases, replacing broken/cracked pieces.

There are no more problems with the fat bodies than the older "regular" bodies. They need to be restrung to fix the wonky stance and they are weak at the ankle/foot joint. Other than that, I see no issues. I even used one to do my self-portrait Mego.
