Li'l Abner
Okay, I've been thinking about doing a 1/6 kitbash of a character I've never seen done before, Li'l Abner. I think I'll mainly base it on the Peter Palmer version from the 1959 film (he would have been an awesome Superman, BTW). The costume's going to be a cakewalk--New Line boots and New Line overalls on a Kaustic Plastik muscle body to start with. The problem is, finding the right head for him. I'm leaning toward Belet Toys' "Tom" for a head sculpt, possible wigged. Are there any better suggestions for a head you guys might know of? I'd appreciate any input on this.
BTW, I'm also thinking of kitbashing a Steve Canyon figure, which I've never seen done. It's essentially Gearbox's 1944 US Army Air Force Pilot on a different body and name and air group patches from Patches of Pride. Couldn't be easier, really.
